Vancouver BMO Marathon 2017



About this event:
Ranked one of the top destination marathons in the world, the BMO Vancouver Marathon is a scenic Boston Qualifier that takes runners on a 42.2KM (26.2 miles) adventure past beaches, through natural parks, and along Vancouver’s Seawall – the world’s longest uninterrupted waterfront path. Vancouver’s only marathon offers 70% shoreline views and stunning scenery. Experience this world-class event for yourself!

The full marathon is limited to a maximum of 5000 participants age 18+ and it starts at 8:30 am. The marathon starting line is on Midlothian Avenue in Queen Elizabeth Park and the race finishes on West Pender Street between Bute Street and Thurlow.

In addition to all the various running races, during the BMO Marathon event there is also a street festival that runs for most of the day. Between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm there are vendor stalls and entertainers along West Pender Street between Thurlow and Pender.
