Go Topless Day Canada 2017

About this event:
Go Topless Day returns to Canada this August. On this day, people in cities around the world are invited to stand up for women's right to go topless in public. This year, GoTopless Day falls precisely on Women's Equality Day, Aug 26. It is indeed on Aug 26, 1920 that women earned their right to vote on the basis of Gender Equality. In 1971, the US Congress has made Aug 26 into a nationally recognized date and named it "Women's Equality Day".

Currently, Ontario and British Columbia are the only Canadian provinces where it is legal for women to go topless.

In Canada,  women in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal are invited to converge and stand up for a women’s right to go topless in public.
