On September 2nd, parade floats will be going from the base of Mount Royal (on Park Avenue) all the way to Place des Festival in Quartier des Spectacles for a night filled with music, dancing and fun! Montrealers are invited to come pick their favorite parade float/DJs and dance along with them in the parade. The gathering begins at 2pm and the parade kicks off at 4pm!

The Quartier des Spectacles invites you to enjoy a unique artistic and sensory experience: KM3. From August 30 to October 15, 2017, more than twenty new works will enliven the Quartier’s façades, squares, parks, sidewalks and windows, encouraging you to see the city as you’ve never seen it before – surprising, dreamlike, reinvented. KM3 is an art walk through the Quartier des Spectacles, from its most iconic spaces to some of its least known ones. This walk features immersive, interactive, participatory and purely visual works created specifically for Montreal.

The Jacques Cartier Pier will become the hitching post for the first edition of NomadFest Urban Rodeo from August 24 to 27, 2017. For four days straight, cowboys and cowgirls can enjoy a brand-new immersive country experience. The festival, which was created by TKNL Productions in cooperation with the Festival Western de St-Tite, Videotron and Coors Banquet, features three distinct components: music, gastronomy and rodeo performances.

Consistently embracing the theme, “United Against Violence” the Montreal International Reggae Festival has become a significant tradition for Reggae music lovers in and outside of Canada.

A major new public concert at the foot of Mount Royal
For Montréal's 375th and Canada's 150th, our three major Montréal orchestras' the McGill Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre Métropolitain and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal will be coming together to celebrate this historic moment at the foot of our iconic Mount Royal. This concept show, created and produced by GSI Musique and directed by Simon Leclerc, will feature more than 400 musicians, pop artists and choral singers who promise to dazzle our eyes and ears and make our spirits soar.

The 2017 Montréal LGBTQ Parade is scheduled for Sunday August 20, 2017, beginning at noon. The parade will start on the corner of Drummond Street and travel east on René-Lévesque Boulevard, culminating on Alexandre-DeSève Street and the Village. The crowd will march to Parc des Faubourgs where everyone is invited to continue the celebrations during the MEGA T-DANCE until the closing show.
